On July 13, Zhu Rubin, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and executive deputy director of the Organizing Committee Office of the first RCEP regional (Shandong) import commodities Expo, led a team to visit the China ASEAN center and communicated with Guo Chuanwei, director of the China ASEAN Central Trade and investment department, on matters related to the first RCEP regional (Shandong) import commodities Expo.
Zhu Rubin introduced the relevant situation, business work and preparations for the first RCEP Expo in Linyi City, and urged the China ASEAN center to give full play to the role of intergovernmental international organizations and give guidance and support to RCEP Expo.
Guo Chuanwei welcomed Zhu Rubin and his delegation. He said that as a one-stop information and activity center, the China ASEAN center is committed to promoting friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between China and ASEAN in the fields of trade, investment, education, culture, tourism and information media; RCEP Expo is of positive significance for promoting interregional trade and investment. China ASEAN center will actively participate in and strongly support the first RCEP Expo.
The China ASEAN center is an intergovernmental international organization jointly established by China and ASEAN. On November 18, 2011, at the summit commemorating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of China ASEAN dialogue relations, the leaders of China and 10 ASEAN countries and the Secretary General of ASEAN jointly unveiled the center and announced the formal establishment of the center.
